Dette er utgangspunktet for trilogien «That’s Entertainment». Tema er sportsindustriens talent for å gi det meningsløse et snev av innhold eller hva som kan skje når gode intensjoner kommer på avveie.	«I thank the Academy for choosing me to be the vessel for which His blessing might flow.» Halle Berry During the 2002 Lake Placid Olympics, figure skater Sarah Hughes danced in memory of the victims of the World Trade Center, and the French ice-dancing pair opened their routine with Martin Luther King’s «I have a dream». These events created the basis for the trilogy «That’s Entertainment». The films show athletes who dance, swim and perform gymnastics to music and speeches. The theme is the sporting industry’s talent for adding a touch of content to the meaningless, or what may happen when good intentions go astray.
Om regissøren BIRGITTE SIGMUNDSTAD (f. 1969) er fotograf og utdannet fra Surrey Institute of Art & Design. Hun har deltatt på Høstutstillingen flere ganger og hatt utstillingene: «That’s Entertainment» på Tromsø Kunstforening 2004, «Allons enfants de la patrie» på Bjørka Oslo 2002 og «Match Of the Day» UKS, Oslo 2000. I 2002 laget hun dokumentaren Hva vi snakker om når vi snakker om film.	*The director* BIRGITTE SIGMUNDSTAD (b. 1969) is a photographer and she was educated at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design. Her work has several times been accepted for the Autumn Exhibition in Oslo. Solo exhibitions: «That’s Entertainment» at Tromsø Art Society in 2004, «Allons enfants de la patrie» at Bjørka in Oslo in 2002 and «Match Of the Day» at UKS in Oslo in 2000. In 2002 she made the documentary What We talk About When We Talk About Film.
