Tvillingfrisørene fra Bagdad
Ahmed og Amir Saion er einegga tvillingar og frisørar i Bergen. Dei har flykta frå krigane og militæret i Irak fordi dei er imot krig. Dei to brørne arbeider saman, er bestevener og giftar seg med to nabosystre frå Bagdad. Vi følgjer dei to små familiane frå våren 2002 gjennom giftarmål, nyårsfeiring og daglegliv i frisørsalongen - fram mot, under og etter krigen i Irak til mai 2004. Dei lever med frykta for kva som kan skje med familien som framleis bur i Bagdad.

The Twin Hair Dressers from Baghdad
Identical twins Ahmed and Amir Saion work as hairdressers in Bergen. Being opposed to war, they have fled Iraq and its military. The two brothers work together, are best friends and marry two sisters from their Baghdad neighbourhood. We follow their small families from the spring of 2002 through marriage, New Year celebrations and everyday life in their salon. Then the war in Iraq breaks out in the spring of 2003. During the war they live in constant fear for the well-being of their relatives, who have stayed behind in Baghdad.

Om regissørene
Thor Morten Trå (f. 1973) har filmvitenskap mellomfag, tv- og videoproduksjon og en master i screenwriting. Han har regissert flere kortfilmer og dokumentarfilmer, bl.a. «Kill your darlings» (1997) for Nordisk Ungdoms-TV, «Kristoffers Himmelfall» (2002) og «Yrkesdykk» (2003). Shahrokh Kavosi (f. 1975) har en bachelor fra Kunsthøgskolen i Bergen og Nordland kunst- og filmskole.
The directors
Thor Morten Trå (b. 1973) has studied film, TV and video production and has a Master's Degree in screenwriting. He has directed several shorts and documentaries, including «Kill Your Darlings» (1997) for Nordisk Ungdoms-TV, «Behind the Scenes of Himmelfall» (2002) and «Professional Diving» (2003). Shahrokh Kavosi (b. 1975) has a Bachelor's Degree from the Bergen College of the Arts and the Nordland Art and Film School. .
