Dum Dum Boys: Fem menn om fem låter
Sommeren 2003 gjenoppstod Dum Dum Boys, bandet som av mange blir sett på som det største og mest betydningsfulle norske rockebandet gjennom tidene. Denne dokumentaren setter søkelys på fem av bandets mest kjente låter: «En Vill En», «Splitter Pine», «Metallic Hvit», «Tyven Tyven» og «Møkkamann». Lydverket var med da de spilte på hjemmebane under UKA i Trondheim foran 5000 elleville publikummere. Gjennom intervjuer med bandmedlemmene får du et ærlig og nært bilde av bandet og deres historie.

Dum Dum Boys - the History of Five Songs
In the summer of 2003 the Dum Dum Boys were reunited. The band is regarded by many as the greatest and most influential Norwegian rock band of all time. This documentary focuses on five of the band's most famous songs: «En Vill En», «Splitter Pine», «Metallic Hvit», «Tyven Tyven», and «Møkkamann». A team from the NRK (National Broadcasting Company) programme Lydverket was present at a concert in their home city of Trondheim during the event called 'UKA', when they played in front of an ecstatic audience of 5000. Through interviews with the band members, an honest and intimate picture is drawn of the band and its history.

Om regissøren
Yngvild Sve Flikke (f. 1974) har jobbet i NRK siden 1996, med blant annet programmer som U:filter, Us Kortfilmserie og Lydverket. I tillegg har hun jobbet som programutvikler for NRK, manusutvikler for Fabelaktiv og laget musikkvideoer for flere artister.
The director
Yngvild Sve Flikke (b. 1974) has worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) since 1996, with programmes like U:filter, U's series of short films and Lydverket. Additionally, she has been a programme developer for NRK and a script developer for Fabelaktiv. She has also made music videos for several artists.
