Árbesilbbat/Arvesølvet
Historien om to eventyrere, Frank Juhls fra Danmark og Regine Juhls fra Tyskland, som søker til Finnmarksvidda på 50-tallet. Samene kler på dem pesken og omfavner disse fremmede med hjertevarme. Til gjengjeld blir de sølvsmeder og reparerer samenes gamle smykker - en sølvskatt, som blir til Juhls Silver Gallery. Men når suksessen vokser seg stor, sniker sjalusien seg inn.

The Tundra Settlers
The story of two adventurers, Frank Juhls from Denmark and Regine from Germany, who go to Finnmark in the far north of Norway in the 1950s. The Sami people warmly embrace these foreigners, dressing them up in the traditional Sami costume called a «pesk». In return, the visitors become silversmiths, repairing old Sami jewellery - a veritable silver treasure, which in turn becomes Juhls Silver Gallery. But with success comes jealousy.

Om regissøren
Anne Lajla Utsi (f. 1973) har gått regi- og tv-produksjonslinja ved Høgskolen i Lillehammer. Arbeidet for NRK og SVT. Regissert kortfilmene «Lappjævel» (1999) og «Sjelens tyv» (2000), og var redaktør for ungdomsmagasinet «S». Er produsent for Samisk Nordisk Filmfestival i Kautokeino. Produksjonskoordinator for spillefilmen «Bázo» i 2002. «Árbesilbbat» er hennes første lengre dokumentar.
The director
Anne Lajla Utsi (b. 1973) studied directing and TV production at Lillehammer College. She has worked for the TV channels NRK and SVT, and directed the shorts «Lapp Bastard» (1999) and «Soul Stealing» (2000). She has edited «S», a magazine for young people, and was production coordinator on the feature film «Bázo» in 2002. She currently is the producer for the Sami Nordic Film Festival in Kautokeino. «Árbesilbbat» is her first longer documentary.
