The Camera Museum

Kameramuseet er en hyldest til kameraets evne til å fange vår tid, og samtidig en leken refleksjon over hva filmmediet har vært brukt til gjennom de hundre årene det har eksistert. Kameramuseet er et unikt stykke teknologihistorie, der vi følger kamerateknologiens utvikling, og samtidig et både morsomt og tankevekkende essay om forholdet mellom film og krig. Kameramuseet er et av hovedverkene i Jan Knutzens filmografi.

The Camera Museum is a celebration of the ability of the camera to capture our time, and at the same time a playful reflection on what the film medium has been used for through the hundred years of its existence. The Camera Museum is a unique piece of technological history, in which we follow the development of camera technology, as well as a funny and thought-provoking essay about the relationship between film and war. The Camera Museum is one of the main works of Jan Knutzen’s filmography.
